Historical Living & Combat Display Performer

I first met the historical group when I was at college studying photography, nearly 9 years ago. I worked with them on and off over the years before eventually becoming a permanent member 3 years ago. I got involved as I’m absolutely fascinated with history of all periods.

At times I have struggled with my mental health but have always felt that the group and individuals empathised and have provided me with an excellent support network when I’ve needed it.

I have a passion for the work of J.R.R Tolkien, from stories to essays and love to read as much as I can from other authors, both fiction and non-fiction.

In the past I have worked in bars, as part of a security team and an extra on TV shows and a few films.  Over the years I’ve learned so much off individual members of the team, from crafting to useful life skills.

I am a talented photographer and during lockdown took up carpentry. At the time this was self-taught as I looking for a new hobby to keep me occupied, since then this has developed into a craft which I have used to further develop my historical characters.
